There are plenty of London Gatwick Airport hotels to choose from. Most are a short drive away from the airport terminals, linked by regular private coach transfer, usually free or for a nominal amount. There are, however, two 4-star hotels directly at the airport, the Sofitel at the North Terminal and the Hilton Hotel at the South Terminal. The South Terminal also has the cheap hotel, the Yotel, for either an overnight stay or a rest between flights.
Another option is to stay at one of the many country hotels, guesthouses and B&Bs nearby. Below is the main information about these Gatwick Airport hotels.
Basic Gatwick Airport Information for All Hotels
There are two terminals at London's Gatwick Airport: the North Terminal and the South Terminal. They are linked to each other by a free and frequent mono-rail train transit service, with a journey time of just a few minutes. Central London is reached in 30 minutes by one of the regular non-stop Gatwick Express trains from Gatwick Station, which is part of the South Terminal building.
